Country/Americana · Latest: East of Gruene

K.C. Brooks, born Katherine Claire Brooks, is a rising Texas Americana and country artist from Kerrville, Texas. Her sound blends modern storytelling with classic Texas roots, combining warm, intimate vocals with honest songwriting and a grounded Hill Country spirit. Raised among the backroads, rivers, and small towns of the Texas Hill Country, her music reflects the kind of memories that stay with you long after the moment has passed. Her songs explore love, longing, resilience, and the quiet beauty found in ordinary places. Her debut project, East of Gruene, was inspired by her childhood trips to Gruene, Texas, where evenings at Gruene Hall and family dinners at the historic Grist Mill helped shape her connection to music. The project’s title pays homage to Willie Nelson, whose music left a lasting impression on her at an early age and inspired her to pursue songwriting herself.
